ซานต้าคุงเปรียบได้เหมือนลูกของ เอกซ์ซิลว่า (แบบว่า ไม่ได้คลอดอุแว้ๆ ออกมานะ) "ผมเกิดจากตอนม๊าเอกซ์จาม แล้วน้ำมูกกระเด็นลงไปในโกโก้ร้อน แล้วหิมะก็หล่นลงมา ตู้ม เกิดเป็นโกโก้ครั้นช์--" แต่จริงๆแล้ว ซานต้าคุงเป็นเหมือนกับ ตัวแทนของความชอบ และความฝันในวัยเด็กของเอกซ์ ที่เชื่อว่า ในวันคริสต์มาสนั้น จะมีเรื่องดีๆเกิดขึ้น แม้ในความเป็นจริง เรื่องศาสนาเอย หรือเรื่องเทศกาลเอย นั้นเป็นเพียงควันจางๆ ในวัยเด็กเท่านั้น แต่สิ่งที่สำคัญจริงๆคือ แสงสว่างประกายระยิบ ระยับ เพลงกังวาล เสียงกระดิ่ง ของกินอร่อยๆ และการแจกของขวัญ และช่วงเวลาแสนสนุกต่างหาก ที่ทำให้ซานต้าคุงนั้นมีตัวตนขึ้นมาได้ ซานต้าคุงเลยมีนิสัย ขี้เล่น สดชื่น ติดตลก และพร้อมที่จะสร้างรอยยิ้มให้กับคนที่พบเจอเสมอ

ในเชิงการออกแบบนั้น จริงๆ ซานต้าคุงไม่ได้มีผลต่อเนื้อเรื่องของเอกซ์มากนัก (จริงๆคือไม่มีเลย 555) เป็น Parody Character มากกว่า ที่จะเป็น Lore Character เหมือนกับว่า ถ้าเราหยิบดาวดวงนึง จากต้นคริสต์มาสมา แล้วใส่ความทรงจำในวัยเด็กลงไป ซานต้าคุงก็จะออกมา ทาด๊า นั่นเอง Halo ที่เป็นรูปดาว และธีมสี แดงเหลือง เพื่อดึงความสดใส และแข็งแกร่งออกมา เสื้อเปิดท้องอย่างมั่นใจ และพกอมยิ้มไว้ตลอดเวลา Ahoge เพื่อบอกว่า พ่อหนุ่มนี่มันต๊องๆ นั่นเอง
เอ้อ! ผมล้อพวก Element ต่างๆจากเกม FateGO นั่นเอง เราเลยมีทั้ง Banner และ สเกลพลังด้วยนั่นเอง แต่ในความเป็นจริงแล้ว ถ้าจะวัดระดับพลังตามเนื้อเรื่องแล้ว ซานต้าคุงคงอยู่จุดล่างสุดของห่วงโซ่อาหารล่ะนะ ฮา
